Most WordPress sites do not break because someone attacked them. They break because nobody updated them for eight months, a plugin fell out of step with the core, and one morning the site shows a white page. Maintenance is the boring work that keeps that morning from happening.
Updates that get checked
Core, plugins and theme are updated on a copy of your site first. If something breaks, it breaks there and not in front of your customers.
Backups you can actually restore
Daily, kept for 30 days, stored away from the server itself. A backup nobody has ever restored is a hope, not a backup, so I test the restore.
Someone notices before you do
The site is checked around the clock. If it goes down at three in the morning, I find out at three in the morning, not when you call me at nine.

Moving an existing WordPress site
Moving a WordPress site is not the hard part. Moving it so that nobody notices is. Search rankings, e-mail, SSL certificates and the moment the domain switches over all have to line up, and each of them can cost you a day of downtime if it does not.
Copy first, switch later
Your site is rebuilt on the new server and tested there while the old one keeps running. Only when everything works does the domain point to the new place.
Rankings stay where they are
Every URL keeps its address, or gets a permanent redirect if it cannot. Google sees a move, not a new website with a lot of dead links.
E-mail moves too, and it moves last

How much does a new WordPress site cost?
It depends on the scope, and honestly, AI has just shifted what things cost and how long they take. So I won't quote numbers here that stop being true next month. Describe your case and you get a fixed price for exactly that, before the first hour of work is billed.
Do I really need the hosting?
Not mandatory but recommended, my hosting is WordPress-tuned and simplifies all support. If you'd rather keep your current host, that works too.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Plus Spanish and German. I've lived in Madrid since 1993.
My site was built by someone else. Will you take it on?
Yes, that is most of what I do. I look at the installation first and tell you what I find, including the parts you will not like. If it is built on something I cannot responsibly maintain, I say so instead of taking the money.
How fast do you answer when something is broken?
Within the hour on working days, usually faster. If your site is down, that comes before whatever else I was doing.
Can I keep my current hosting?
Yes. Maintenance works on any decent hosting. I will tell you honestly if yours is the reason your site is slow, but the decision stays yours.
What happens if I stop the maintenance plan?
The site stays yours, on your hosting, with your credentials. No lock-in, no handover fee, no month of notice. I give you everything and you are free.
